Excellent corrosion resistance

Corrosion is a phenomenon in which metal atoms on the surface lose electrons and are ionized and dissolved or are combined with elements, such as oxygen. In the case of aluminum, a dense natural oxide film is formed on the surface, which acts as a protective film and hinders the progress of corrosion. By highly purifying aluminum, it is possible to reduce compounds that are prone to defects in the oxide film. This increases corrosion resistance.

Customer value

  • Damage to the material due to highly corrosive gases and solutions can be suppressed.
  • Elution of the metal from the surface can be prevented.
