Features of the PF Die Casting Method
The air in the mold is replaced by an active gas (oxygen), promoting a reaction between an Al alloy injected at high speed and the active gas (oxygen). This enables the manufacture of die cast products with nonporous and finely detailed internal structures.
Volume of Gas in Product Interior
This method is overwhelmingly superior to standard die casting methods in terms of the occurrence of blowholes (it produces 1/10th the amount or less), making it ideally suited to the casting of strong and pressure-resistant parts. The low volume of gas in the products enables T6 heat treatments to be applied.
